Upon arrival, you will be guided by our trained instructors and encouraged to ask any questions you may have, before receiving a safety briefing and beginning your ascent up the 30m spiral staircase! The Brighton Zip is a supervised activity, so rest assured you will be accompanied by qualified instructors at every step of your ride. We suggest giving sessions 30/40 minutes when busy. What happens in bad weather?
While Brighton Zip is a year-round attraction, the Zip may have to change our weight limits/ to close at the managers discretion due to weather such as: high winds, stormy conditions, electrical storms, frost, snow or extreme heat. Please check our website and Instagram page for updates. Upon closure, we will also aim to call you – so please ensure you have provided the correct phone number on your booking!
If your session is cancelled, your ticket is valid for 1 year, with no rebooking necessary. Please retain your original email confirmation and redeem your ticket another day! We hold a no refund policy if we have to close due to bad weather.
What is your refund policy?

The Brighton Zip is open from 12pm every Saturday and Sunday. We are also open:
- Summer Holidays (7 days a week!)
- Half Terms
- National Bank Holidays
Before Booking
How do I book/ change my booking?
You can book here – Buy Brighton Zipwire Tickets, or purchase your tickets on the day at our ticket window. To change your booking, please retain your original confirmation email and use your ticket for up to a year from the original booking date.
What if I have a pre-existing medical condition?
As our instructors are not medically qualified, it remains your responsibility to undertake an assessment prior to booking with us. We recommend not riding with us if you have a heart, back or lung condition due to the physical nature of the ride, but feel free to contact us if you have any specific questions!
What if I need additional support?
If you require additional support during your visit, please contact us in advance to discuss your requirements. We will try to cater to your needs to the best of our ability. Unfortunately, we cannot permit any non-riders on the tower platform, so if you require support from a specific person, they will have to ride with you!
What if I’m pregnant?
You cannot ride the Brighton Zip if you are pregnant under any circumstances.
On The Day
What should I wear?
You should wear comfortable clothing and close-toed shoes, ensuring your stomach area is covered. No rings are permitted, but we will cover these in medical tape if you are unable to remove them. Large hoop earrings will need to be removed, and hair should also be tied up into a low-ponytail. No wet swimwear, bikinis or short skirts are permitted either.
What if I’m late?
We ask that you arrive up to 10 minutes before your booking time. However, if you are late – we will simply assign you to the next available booking slot.
Where can I store my belongings?
No loose items are permitted on the Brighton Zip – so we provide locked cabinets to store your possessions. Larger bags should be left with speculating family and friends, and we recommend leaving valuable items at home. The Brighton Zip cannot accept liability for any items lost or damaged whilst in our care or kept on your person during the ride.
What do I need to bring?
Please bring your online ticket either on a mobile smartphone or printed at home. If you are redeeming a gift voucher, this will also need to be presented at the ticket window. You will be asked to sign a waiver upon arrival, and once this is completed, you’re ready to go!
Safety
What equipment do you use?
We use Petzl full-body harnesses – Simbas for small children and Newtons for larger children and adults. Petzl helmets are also provided, and they must be worn at ALL TIMES.
